Another Year LIghts Up!

Photo Credit I can't believe how time flies! After two years of dealing with the pandemic, I took a moment to reflect my life as a now 57 year old. Wow! I took a great work / vacation trip to Acapulco, Mexico . It's a destination I've gone to in the last 5 years. My friend owns a condo blocks away from the beaches of Acapulco bay , to be more specific, Condesa Beach . It was nice to take time off and enjoy the celebration, very grateful to alive and well. Hope to see what other adventures takes me next.

40 years Out of High School: A Sobering Reunion in Las Vegas

October 5-6, 2023 Las Vegas, NV I can't remember the last time I had gone to my high school class reunion. Oh wait, it was literally 10 years ago. And before that we all met up for our 50th year old selves again in Las Vegas. In between that time and our recent class reunion so many things have happened to prompt me to go back and see how everyone's doing. Classmates (George, Esther, and Virgil) who all attended the same elementary school, Ewa In 2020, we were hit with a global pandemic that placed many in person events on hold for almost 3 years! So, reigniting another reunion date was quite a feat. The planning committee was able to muster up at least 60+ class mates to return to the scene of Las Vegas. I couldn't believe they did not choose another venue. But I have a feeling I know why. One, it was much more affordable. Many of my class mates still live back home in Hawaii . A Weekend Visit in Mexico City (CDMX)

A quick impromptu getaway from San Francisco ! Travel Date: January 26-29, 2024 Here are some of the things I did while I was there. Because I'm an Airbnb Superhost , Airbnb rewards hosts with a discount for staying at other Airbnb rentals. So, I took advantage and picked a place that was ideal and a really nice neighborhood.
